Atlanta field resumes production from another well

We report the return of operation of one more well in the Atlanta Field.

Production was restarted on May 7th and, at this moment, joint production from two wells is around 18,500 barrels of oil per day.

The return of the 3rd producing well is scheduled for July 2021.

“The success in restarting the operation of one more well is the result of the dedication of our entire team. This result is even more significant when we observe that we have overcome all the challenges posed by the pandemic, maintaining the health and safety of all workers. We continued, as planned, working to optimize resources in the asset, ensuring value generation. We are now continuing to concentrate efforts to resume production through 3 wells in the SPA. ”, commented our COO, Carlos Mastrangelo.

As of May 2021, Atlanta oil will be delivered to the platform at a fixed discount of less than $1 per barrel compared to Brent. On April 29, we signed a new agreement with Shell for the sale of the entire production of the Atlanta Field by the end of 2022.
