Enauta acquires three blocks at Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, expanding its presence in the region

In partnership with ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil Ltda. (“ExxonMobil”) and with Murphy
Exploration & Production Company (“Murphy Oil”) we acquired today (September 10) a stake in three blocks in the first cycle of the Permanent Offer held by the Brazil’s National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).

The blocks acquired, SEAL-M-505, SEAL-M-575 and SEAL-M-637, are located 120km from the coast, in ultradeep waters in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, with a total area of approximately 2,250 km².

The acquisition was 30% of working interest in the three blocks, in partnership with ExxonMobill, the operator with 50% working interest and Murphy Oil, with 20%. These blocks are adjacent to the other blocks owned by the same consortium. Total signing bonus for these exploratory blocks is R$7.9 million or R$2.4 million net to Enauta Energia.
