The oil and natural gas exploration areas in the Paraná Basin bought by Enauta, in partnership with Eneva, in the 2nd cycle of the Permanent Offer, last week, have similarities with areas already developed in the Parnaíba Basin, said the Enauta’s CFO, Paula Côrte-Real.
“These areas have great similarity with the Parnaíba Basin. The partnership with Eneva is very much in line with the exploratory experience of the two companies”, said the executive, during a live made by Genial Investimentos.
Last Friday, December 4, Enauta acquired four blocks in the Paraná Basin in partnership with Eneva, during the 2nd cycle of the Permanent Offering of the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP). Enauta has a 30% stake in the consortium formed with Eneva (70%) that won the PAR-T-86, PAR-T-99, PAR-T-196 and PAR-T-215 blocks in the Paraná Basin, with a total signature bonus of R$ 2.11 billion. Of this amount, Enauta will be responsible for the disbursement of R$ 633 thousand.
The companies have a minimum exploratory investment commitment in the four blocks of R$ 45.3 million.
“I see a lot of value in this partnership for both sides”, completed the executive.
