On Tuesday (31st), Enauta announced through LinkedIn that it has completed the drilling of the fourth well in the Atlanta field, located in the Santos Basin. Well 7-ATL-5H-RJS – where drilling started in November 2022 – was completed in the second half of January, at a depth of 3,600 m and a water depth of 1,500 m.

The company added that, “We are now in the upper completion phase, equipping the well for production. Our drilling and completion campaign continues with work on two other wells, which will be part of the Atlanta field’s Definitive System (SD)”.

As published in Petróleo Hoje magazine, the fourth Atlanta well involves a planned investment of US$75 million, including connection to the FPSO Petrojarl I, under the field’s Accelerated Production System (SPA). The well is expected to increase the company’s production by more than 20,000 bpd, as of this quarter.
