In the municipality of São João da Barra (RJ), our partnership with the Arte Peixe Cooperative contributes towards refining the production system for food derived from the sea, to ensure food security and the possibility of obtaining the necessary registration for commercialization on an industrial scale.

The development of the cooperative is an example of productive inclusion, as well as the generation of work and income for various families, and it has already been voted one of the five best cooperatives in Brazil.

Around 20 women and their families earn their livelihood from this type of activity, through the “Arte Peixe” (Seafood Arts) Cooperative.
